Life epiphanies can happen at the most unexpected times. For Ghada Ahmed, it occurred when her 6-year-old daughter traipsed down the stairs of her home and convinced her to quit her six-figure salaried job.

"I realized that it was the money that was motivating me. And my gut began telling me it was time for me to leave," Ahmed said.

Referring to herself as a self-made millionaire by the time she turned 28 years old, Ahmed walked away from her successful real estate investment company last year to start her own conscious coaching company, Measured Motivation.

"Really it's not about the money. It's about being spiritually grounded," Ahmed said. "I hated landlording. I got into real estate for the money. And it wasn't for me."

Despite the lack of family support and ridicule from others in her community, Ahmed continues to believe that quitting her job and starting Measured Motivation was a major turning point in her life – and thanks her daughter every day for opening her eyes.

"I realized that life is about working hard, it's not about chasing money. I got so tired of trying to determine what my spot on Earth is. And I realized that there must be so many people trying to figure out what their mark is," Ahmed said as she folded her legs on the couch in her spacious Upper Marlboro home.

With no marketing budget or office space, Ahmed meets clients in her home or theirs and coaches them on ways to maximize their potential while remaining spiritually grounded.

As the only success coaching company on the East Coast that incorporates spirituality into its teaching methods, Measured Motivation offers a world of enlightenment for people of all ages and all walks of life.

Specifically specializing in areas of business, marketing, sales and children's businesses, Measured Motivation has proven to be very successful and helpful to those interested in starting or enhancing their own businesses.

"In business coaching, I completely revamp a company's marketing strategy to make it very powerful. I'm an expert in that," Ahmed said. "I help companies increase their sales."

During her entrepreneurial coaching sessions, Ahmed, who has also developed a cosmetic line and has written three books, draws upon her own experience and knowledge of starting businesses to aid those interested in starting their own business.

Ahmed teaches these entrepreneurs ways to determine their purpose, as well as intuitive readings, chakra testing, beginners mediation, laws of attracting and more.

"Usually between 29 and 35 is when we question ourselves, when we know there is something bigger or different we should be doing or we feel a sense of void," Ahmed said.

In addition to coaching businesses and entrepreneurs, Ahmed also provides her services to teenagers.

During her one-on-one sessions with teens, Ahmed coaches and motivates teens in specific areas, such as being responsible and planning for the future.

"We should listen to our children more often," she says. Most parents believe that they should always be so authoritative, when in fact children are their own beings, we should let them be who they are and because they are so intuitive, we should listen to them more often."

As a young mother, Ahmed knows how to provide unparalleled results and transform children into tiny entrepreneurial moguls in no time.

Her two young daughters have even started their own successful jewelry line.

Ahmed also shares her tips and unique techniques for starting a business at Measured Motivation's Success Saturdays. These weekly seminars incorporate spiritual guidance with business savvy methods of marketing and advertising for entrepreneurs and businesses.

Firmly believing that success can be taught, Ahmed incorporates financial literacy, motivation, goal setting and attainment into her curriculums.

"That's my job. That's my destiny," Ahmed said. "I'm here to help people realize who they are on the inside."
