To the editor;

This is truly a sad state of affairs that with all the unemployment and  budget deficits and problem in this mismanaged county, our county leader Ike  Leggett will now waste more of your tax payer money and take a junket of 66  People to El Salvador to establish so called sister cities which is what we DO NOT NEED here now.

It would appear it would be a much better use of tax payer money  to  create jobs for our legal local residents and work on improving our county's failing economy instead of wasting money on this junket which just Might  bring  more  Illegal Immigrants here that we do not need.

In my opinion this is just another wasted cause and a unnecessary waste of our hard earned tax payer money that our tax and spent county continues to take from us at every turn.

This event is just another way for Leggett and the democrats here to seek and gain more votes  in pursuit of their left wing agenda.

editor’s note; While I rarely respond to letters, heh heh, I found it necessary to at least set the record straight on one important issue. Whether you agree or disagree with the county delegation that traveled to El Salvador for a wide variety of humanitary reason, it is extremely important to note that the trip was not paid for by taxpayer money.

Everyone who attended did so at their own expense - at least that is our understanding.
