KENSINGTON –  Einstein had a chance, on its homecoming, to earn a program-changing win.

The upstart Titans could have jumped to two games over .500 and won their first game against a true contender.

But instead, they ran into quarterback Patrick Schlosser and his Watkins Mill Wolverines.

Watkins Mill (4-2) rode a dominating performance from Schlosser, who totaled more than 100 yards through the air and on the ground, to an easy 48-22 road win over the Titians (3-3). Schlosser also had five total touchdowns-three passing and two rushing.

It wasn’t a runaway victory for the Wolverines from the start, however. On the Titans first offensive play, Sean Loftus found wideout Nobel Mussie for a 69-yard touchdown pass. Mussie would finish the game with four catches and a mind-boggling 224 yards receiving.

But after the early touchdown, it was all Wolverines.

Schlosser led the team on four first-half touchdown drives. The game remained due to a botched a pair of Wolverine Miscues- a blocked field goal and botched snap- in the redzone.

Still, Watkins Mill went into halftime with a 28-14 lead.

The halftime break didn’t slow the Wolverines down a bit. Watkins Mill would go on to score 30 unanswered points before putting in their second string players to finish the game out.
