Police arrested Jamel Lamar McInnis, 18, of Clarksburg; Brandon Eugene Addison, 21, of Gaithersburg; and Kevin Olaniyi, 20, of no fixed address and charged each suspect with one count of armed robbery and one count of first-degree assault.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a robbery at the intersection of Sutler Square Terrace and Brewers Tavern Road in Clarksburg on Jan. 10 at approximately 1:15 a.m.  Regency Cab dispatched a cab fare to an address on Brewer’s Tavern Way and when the cab driver arrived in the area, he was waved down by a black male subject.  The subject entered the rear of the cab and stunned the driver with a Taser-like device, then stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area.  The cab driver suffered minor injuries from the incident.
The other incident occurred on January 15 at approximately 10:52 p.m., when police responded to a report of a suspicious situation at the 300 block of Lawrence Drive in Rockville.  According to police, a Regency Cab driver picked up two suspects at the Rockville Metro and transported them to an address on Lawrence Drive.  When they arrived at the residence, one of the suspects stunned the cab driver with a Taser-like device.  The two suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the driver and fled the area.  The cab driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries suffered during the incident.

McInnis was arrested on Jan. 24, Addison was arrested on Jan. 26 and Olaniyi was arrested on Jan. 30.  McInnis is being held on a $10,000 bond with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 17 at 10 a.m.  Addison and Olaniyi are currently being held on a $150,000 bond with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 24 at 10 a.m.
