William Frank Patrick Euler

Died January 5th, 2014 after a brief illness in Washington, DC at age 61. Born in Washington, DC on March 17, 1952, he was raised in Bethesda, MD. A graduate of Walt Whitman High School, he served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and later settled in Dickerson, MD residing there for the last 38 years. He was a guitarist playing blues, folk and rock with such bands as The Blue Diamonds, Homespun, Crossbow, Boss Crow, Dead Man's Hand, Boris and the Bush Pilots, Frye and Euler, and The Core. For the last 3 years he has played with The Vi-Kings. But he considered fatherhood his highest calling. He is survived by beloved grandsons Colin Patrick, Ryan Joseph, Leif Johannes Euler, sons Patrick Grahm Lodge Euler and Eric Joseph Stangeland Euler, daughter in-law Lauren Michelle Euler, wife Phyllis Kay Euler, former wife Sharon Louise Ezell, brother John Lodge Euler and sisters Dianne Eva Pearson and Lois Ann Euler. Also loving partner for the last 3 years, Mary Jean Cochran. A memorial service will be held at Bethesda United Methodist Church at 8300 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, MD on Saturday, January 18th at 3pm.

A celebration of his life will follow at 4:30pm at the Rock Creek Mansion, 5417 West Cedar Lane, Bethesda, MD.
