Berliner goes after WSSC for high bills

Rockville residents complain

400-1910.gallery large 1.web 1ROCKVILLE- At Monday night’s city council meeting Rockville citizens brought their concerns about the lack of pay increases for the Rockville City Police to the council and mayor. During the community forum held before the fiscal 2015 budget was presented, several residents voiced their support for the city police officers with the hope that the police would be included in the budget.

Rockville budget under scrutiny

414665 114288788735993 983164528 oROCKVILLE- In the $116.8 million city operating budget, there are no step increases noted for Rockville City Police officers. In the budget, all regular city employees will receive a two percent cost of living adjustment (COLA) and a one time performance based bonus. The city police department has not received a raise since 2010.
