tax celebration 1The current occupant of the White House is far from hesitant about demanding loyalty from those who serve in the White House, his cabinet or Congressional Republicans. If you don't believe me, you can just check with former FBI Director Jim Comey or read his new book, “A Higher Loyalty,” or ask those, like Reince Priebus, who sat around the table in the White House and took turns sharing how honored they were to serve the president.
If you need another example of the rampant sycophancy crucial to dealing with this president, you can also check with the swarm of Congressmen who took turns coming to the microphone on the South Lawn of the White House praising the president in the aftermath of passing that horrendous tax bill.
Senator Orrin Hatch even went as far as stating Trump may be the greatest president ever. Really, now!

Creatures of scary habits

Plane OverheadSomewhere in Potomac tonight there is a family sitting in a home that cost more than $1 million, upset with the noise coming from commercial aircraft flying into Reagan National Airport and they’ve convinced the county to spend $150,000 to an aviation expert in order to come up with alternative flight plans into Reagan.
Putting aside that it is still hard for me to swallow that there is an airport named after the president who took a giant squat on air traffic controllers, I’ll happily sign up to take the money from the county because I can tell you there can be little if no change in the traffic pattern at National.
That’s not something those people living in multi-million dollar homes want to hear, but it’s something that’s going to be said.

It's all about Russia -stupid

trumpnmeSarah Huckabee Sanders walked out to the podium twice this week and once again spread a false narrative about former FBI Director James Comey. She accused him of illegally leaking information to the public when she and everyone in the present administration have absolutely no proof of it – and in fact have absolute proof that when Comey leaked memos he wasn’t leaking classified information and therefore he didn’t do anything illegal.
It doesn’t matter. The President’s base will buy it. They’ll believe it. They’ll endorse it. They will repeat it. They will cheer it and they will yell “Fake News” at anyone who says otherwise.
