FREDERICK WILLIAM THOMPSON (59) of Rockville MD, died Wednesday March 23, 2011 in the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital surrounded by close family members.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, William G. and Laura D. (Trautman) Thompson. He is survived by his sisters: Nancy (Thompson) Bartko and husband Bill, of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Ruth (Thompson) Young and husband David, of New Paris, PA. 

Fred is fondly remembered by his six cousins, with whom he shared sibling-like relationships. He and cousin Lydia Conley of Lorton, VA were especially close. He also leaves behind two aunts and uncles, four nieces, two nephews, two great-nephews, and some close friends. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday June 18th in Black Hill Regional Park in Boyd's Maryland.
