Blair junior Courtney Wyche and Paint Branch junior Kate Windsor combined to toss 24 strikeouts in the Blazers’ 5-4 road victory over the Panthers.

Wyche, who registered 11 strikeouts against the Panthers, helped Blair remain unbeaten at 9-0 heading into Monday’s game at crosstown rival Springbrook.

Meanwhile, Windsor, who fanned 13 Blair batters, registered her 99th strikeout this season.

“I’m pretty excited for her,” said Paint Branch head coach Cari Huffman. “I’m proud of her.”

Paint Branch, who fell to 5-2, will travel to Northwood next Tuesday to battle the Gladiators.
