Good Counsel has found a replacement for head coach Bob Milloy who stepped down last month after half a century coaching Maryland high school football.

The Olney private school has promoted Andy Stefanelli, a 1983 Good Counsel graduate who has served as the Falcons’ freshman head coach and recruiting coordinator for the past eight seasons.

During his tenure at Good Counsel, Stefanelli has compiled a 71-2 record.

“I am thrilled and honored to be named the head football coach at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, my alma mater,” said Stefanelli. “I hope to carry on the rich tradition that has been established by Coach Milloy.”
