Man found on dead in Upper Marlboro
The Upper Marlboro Police Department, working with the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit, is investigating the death of a man found in Upper Marlboro.
On Jan. 14, at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers responded to the 5700 block of Water Street for a man down. When officers arrived, they discovered an unknown male lying on the ground suffering from trauma to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics of the Prince George’s County Fire Service. The victim’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.

Police continue to seek information in fatal pedestrian crash
The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed or been in the area of a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred on Annapolis Road in September 2009.
On Sept.10, 2009, at approximately 8:06 p.m., officers responded to the 7900 block of Annapolis Road for the report of a pedestrian crash. When officers arrived, they found Jose Perez-Simental, 36, of Riverdale, lying in the roadway. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police are seeking information on the striking vehicle.
Police are searching for a Chrysler model vehicle with damage to the left front headlight. The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound between Finns Lane and Riverdale Road.
