 Murder in Langley Park

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a murder that occurred last Sunday evening on 15th Avenue in Langley Park.

On Feb. 28, at approximately 11:53 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 8100 block of 15th Avenue after receiving a report for an unknown trouble.When patrol officers arrived, they discovered Juan Perez Ramirez, 35, of the 8100 block of 14th Avenue in Langley Park unresponsive and suffering from trauma to his upper body. He was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased a short time later.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the victim was involved in an altercation after attending a function at this location. Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is offering a cash reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect(s). The investigation is continuing.
