PGPD arrests robbery suspects

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s District I Investigative section has made two quick arrests in connection to the citizen robbery that occurred in College Park.

On Aug. 27, at approximately 12:59 a.m., patrol officers responded to the 8600 block of Baltimore Avenue for the report of a robbery. When patrol officers arrived, they learned that three suspects had approached the victims, displayed a weapon and demanded their money. The victims complied with the suspects’ demands and gave them money and property. After taking the items, the suspects fled the area on foot.

Patrol officers canvassing the area were able to quickly locate two of the three suspects nearby and place them under arrest. Makthe Ndongo, 22, of Greenbelt and his juvenile accomplice, 15, have each been charged with two counts of robbery. Ndongo has been remanded to the custody of the Department of Corrections.

A warrant has been obtained for the third suspect Theo Davis, 23, of NW, Washington, D.C.

Anyone with additional information about this case is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s District I Investigative Section at 301-699-2601.
