Army Pvt. Jason S. Clamor has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Fe Clamor of Bowie. Clamor is a 2006 graduate of Laurel High School.

Army Pvt. Darius A. Ford has graduated from the Direct Fire Infantryman One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. The training consists of Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training. Ford is the son of Patrica Young of Temple Hills. The private is a 2009 graduate of Crossland High School, Temple Hills.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Robin A. Marcus graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. She is the daughter of Dian Facey of Bronx, N.Y., and sister of Natalie Simpson of Capitol Heights. Marcus is a 2005 graduate of Friendly Senior High School, Fort Washington.

Army Pfc. Moses Opoku-Boateng graduated from the Automated Logistical Specialist Advanced Individual Training course at the U.S. Army Quartermaster Center and School, Fort Lee, Petersburg, Va. Opoku-Boateng is the nephew of Claudina N. Johnson of Laurel.

Army Pvt. Antoine A. Reeves has graduated from the Basic Field Artillery Cannon Crewmember Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. Reeves is the son of William B. Reeves Jr. of Fort Washington. His wife, Chenea, is the daughter of Barbara Jones of Landover. The private is a 2007 graduate of Crossland High School, Temple Hills.

Army Pfc. Jackie C. Sallis has deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan, to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Sallis is an automated logistical specialist assigned to the Task Force Destiny, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade at Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan. The private has served in the military for two years. He is the son of Shawnelle Sallis of Brandywine. His wife, Kayla, is the daughter of John Coburn of Fairmont, W.Va. The private is a 2005 graduate of Westlake High School, Waldorf.

Army Pvt. Adam Shahzoda has graduated from the Basic Field Artillery Cannon Crewmember Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. Shahzoda is the son of Ferzana and Altaf Hussain of Laurel. The private is a 2008 graduate of Laurel High School.
