Special program

Davies Memorial Unitarian Universalist Church on Temple Hills Road is presenting “An Interreligious Exchange on Natural Law of Compassionate Justice” on Sunday, Feb. 28, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Speakers will be the Rev. Bruce Marshall and Dr. Robert Dickson Crane, who was the former advisor to the late President Nixon, and former Deputy Director of the U.S. National Security Council. 

Dr. Crane is author of the new book, “The National Law of Compassionate Justice: An Islamic Perspective.” Joyce Dowling, U.N. Associate Humanitarian Award Winner for Interfaith and Social Justice work, will emcee this event.

 Khalil Shadeed, producer of an award-winning television program called the “Scholar’s Chair,” will moderate the discussion.
