VIDEO: Police arrest one homicide suspect, seek helping finding two others

MooremugshotCPCOLLEGE PARK – Homicide detectives from Prince George's County Police Department have made an arrest in the March 26 shooting of 36-year-old Rawle Farley.

Detectives arrested 27-year-old William George Moore, Jr. of the 2100 block of Cameron Drive in Dundalk. He is charged with first-degree murder and is in the custody of the department of corrections on a no-bond status.

Farley was shot in a stairwell of the Camden Apartment Complex in the 9600 block of Milestone Way off of Baltimore Avenue next to the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center. The investigation revealed Farley was shot during a robbery. A second victim was also hurt, but survived his injuries. The suspects and victims were acquaintances.

Detectives are still searching for two other suspects and have released new surveillance video of the three suspects walking into the victim’s apartment building prior to the shooting. Moore is the first suspect who walks in and is wearing red. Investigators are asking the community to help identify the two additional suspects who follow Moore into the building.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment is the case. Tipsters do not need to ever give their names. Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide unit at 301-772-4925.
