LAUREL – Detectives from the Prince George's County Police Department's homicide unit has arrested three teenagers in connection with the July 18 fatal shooting of 17-year-old Dustin Khoury of Sparrows Point.
Detectives arrested18-year-old Kalik Johnson of the 8700 block of Char Court in Laurel, 18-year-old Kylah Nettleton of the 1700 block of Blarney Court in Severn, and 17-year-old Darius Tarik Johnson of the 3000 block of Chester Grove Road in Upper Marlboro.
Police say Khoury was shot inside his vehicle at the intersection of Contee Road and Larchdale Road in Laurel. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said a preliminary investigation revealed that the three teenagers and Khoury had agreed to meet to conduct an illegal transaction. During that transaction Khoury was shot.
All three teenagers are charged with first and second-degree murder, while Darius Johnson is being charged as an adult. The three teenagers are in custody of the department of corrections on a no-bond status.
