LANDOVER – Homicide detectives from the Prince George's County Police Department have identified two victims in Bladensburg and Riverdale Park.
Early morning on July 26, police responded to the 4300 block of 57th Avenue for the sound of gunshots. When they arrived, officers discovered 27-year-old Tony Demar Miller, Jr. of Fairwood Road in Landover suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later.
According to court records, Miller had been arrested a number of times in the county for second-degree assault, possession of drugs, battery and other crimes.
Detectives have also identified 26-year-old Cesar Bazan of 69th Place in Landover Hills as a victim who was shot and killed as a result of verbal altercation at an apartment complex in Riverdale Park.
Detectives believe both homicides were not random and are working to establish a suspect(s) and motive in both homicides. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in both cases. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the homicide unit at 301-772-4925.
