CLINTON – Detectives from the Prince George's County Police Department, along with the department's command staff, are investigating the triple homicide of three children who were found dead Friday morning inside a Clinton home.
Just after 7:30 a.m., patrol units from the police department, along with units from the county fire department, responded to the 6400 block of Brooke Jane Drive for three children reported dead inside a home.
“We received a call from a family member who discovered the three bodies inside of a home,” said Jennifer Donelan, director of public relations for the county police department. “When personnel arrived on the scene they found three children suffering trauma to their bodies. They were pronounced dead on the scene by fire department personnel.”
Detectives canvassed the area along with K-9 units looking for clues and information regarding the triple homicide.
“An extensive investigation is now underway to determine exactly what happened in the home. We are committed to make arrest and determine a motive,” Donelan said.
