Department's homicide unit has made an arrest in the county's 76th homicide of 2017, which happened in District Heights.

Detectives arrested 26-year-old Darius Wilson of the 2000 block of Amber Leaf Place in Waldorf who fatally shot 23-year-old Rondell Foo of District Heights.

Just before 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 21, 2017, police and fire/EMS units from Prince George's County responded to the 6300 block of Sunvalley Terrace for the report of a shooting.

When they arrived, the officers discovered the victim outside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said Wilson and Foo were acquaintances and the motive of the shooting appears to be robbery.

Wilson has been allegedly arrested numerous times in Prince George's County for drug charges and other crimes.

Wilson is charged with first-degree murder, assault and several additional charges. He’s in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
