OXON HILL – Detectives from the of Prince George's County Police Department Homicide Unit are searching for a person who fatally stabbed a 23-year-old man in Oxon Hill.
On Feb. 25th, patrol units from Maryland Capital Park Police, Prince George's County Police along with units from the county fire department responded to the 1100 block of Marcy Avenue next to Oxon Hill Fire Department for a stabbing.
Upon arrival, they located Yefrin Argueta of Arlington allegedly suffering from multiple stab wounds to his upper body. He was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Detectives on the scene do not believe this was a random act and they are working to identify a suspect (s) and establish a motive.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 301-772-4925.
