Mount Rainier and Yorktown receive grants from Macy’s to perform “Yes, Virginia the Musical”
As part of Macy’s “Believe” campaign, the store is giving grants to schools across the country so that they can perform “Yes, Virginia The Musical”, which is based on the true story of Virginia O’Hanlon who wrote a letter to the New York Sun in 1897 asking if Santa Claus was real. Mount Rainier and Yorktown elementary are two of 100 schools chosen to receive the $1,000 grant.
