TEZA
In celebration of Black History Month, the Anacostia Trails Heritage Area Inc. and the Hyattsville Community Development Corporation, in cooperation with the City of Hyattsville, present the premiere Maryland showing of TEZA, the latest release from world-renowned, independent filmmaker Haile Gerima. A one-week limited engagement of TEZA will begin showing on Feb. 26 at Regal Entertainment’s Royale Stadium 14, at the University Town Center, in Hyattsville, Maryland. Movie Tickets will be on sale at the Regal Royale’s box office or online at www.fandango.com or www.regalentertainmentgroup.com.
Starting Friday, February 26th there will be four screenings of TEZA daily at Hyattsville’s Regal Royale. The filmmaker will take part in question and answer session opening night at the Regal Royale Stadium 14. Show times are as follows: Fri., Sat. & Sun. at 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.; Mon., Tues., Wed., Thur. at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m. & 10 p.m.

“Anne & Emmett,” Feb. 26-27.
“Anne & Emmett” is about an imaginary conversation between Anne Frank (one of over 1 million children who died in the Holocaust) and Emmett Till (a 14-year-old African American boy from Chicago, murdered in Mississippi. An imaginary conversation between the two of them takes place in this one-act play by Janet Langhart Cohen.

Meet the eccentric Brewster family of Brooklyn, N.Y. There are scheming old women who poison their victims with elderberry wine: Teddy, who suffers delusions that he is Theodore Roosevelt; and their nephew, Mortimer, who discovers a body under the window seat. The elderly women “fess up to their deeds” matter-of-factly and head swiftly to a comical surprise ending.
