IsabellaGandolph lacrosseGREENBELT – As Eleanor Roosevelt Boys Lacrosse Head Coach Scott Sorenson received the Prince George’s County Championship, he held it high for a few moments in front of his team before handing it off to senior captain Elias Kallon. As the handoff was completed, other members of the Raiders team showered Sorenson with a celebratory water bath.

Lady Raiders drop Lady Clippers in county championship

AshiaMcCallaUPPER MARLBORO – Eleanor Roosevelt Head Coach Delton Fuller was in disbelief. Despite holding the Oxon Hill girls' basketball team to only seven points in the opening quarter, his Lady Raiders did not fare better, only scoring two points via free throws in the same time period during the Prince George’s County Championship on Feb. 22.

There are not many tandems that work as well together as those two – fictionally or in reality – but instead of fighting crime in Gotham, Oxon Hill quarterback Dajuan Rollins and wide receiver Daniel George will have to settle for being the best dynamic duo in the county.

Oxon Hill’s George to join Nittany Lions in 2018

Daniel George MSOXON HILL – Upon committing to Penn State University on July 17, Oxon Hill High School wide receiver Daniel George also had offers from the likes of Virginia Tech, Maryland, North Carolina and West Virginia.

There were nearly 20 schools to choose from, but for the rising senior, Penn State was the right fit.
