Three homicides occurred in a span of less than 72 hours this past weekend in Prince George’s County.
Just before 3 a.m. Monday, Prince George’s County police and fire departments were called to the 3300 block of Walters Lane in District Heights for a report of a person shot.
Police officers and paramedics located Brandon Rashad Catlett, 21, of District Heights, suffering multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body and a gunshot wound to his head.
Catlett was pronounced dead on the scene by county paramedics, a police official said.
Detectives are working to identify the suspect or suspects and motive in this case.
Just before 9:30 p.m. Friday, Antonio Delonte Ross, 23, was shot to death in the 1600 block of Tulip Avenue near Ritchie Road.
Early Sunday, Marcus Antonio Jones, 16, of Fort Washington, was shot and killed in the 7700 block of Webster Lane in Fort Washington.
