Army Spec. Kenneth S. Bell has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Bell is the son of Laura McKie and grandson of Betty Henery-Tremble, both of Silver Spring. He is a 2007 graduate of High Point High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2010 from Bowie State University.

Army Reserve Pfc. Alisha K. Campbell has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Campbell is the daughter of Maria Jones and stepdaughter of Anthony Jones, both of District Heights. She is a 2012 graduate of Forestville Military Academy.

Army Pvt. Michael H. Dawson has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Dawson is the son of Michael Dawson and stepson of Velva Dawson, both of North Brunswick, N.J. He is also the son of Rhonda Dawson, of Fort Washington. He is a 2007 graduate of North Brunswick Township High School, N.J.

Army Pfc. Howard T. Epps has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. Epps is the son of Kimberly Epps, of Berwyn Heights. He is a 2012 graduate of Parkdale High School.

Army Pvt. Ismael Garcia has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Garcia is the son of Norma Garcia and Guillermo Merino, both of Hyattsville.

Army Pvt. Marcus L. Reed has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Reed is the son of Freddie Reed, of Hyattsville.

Air Force Airman Dewaun E. Roberson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Roberson is the son of Kenneth Roberson, of Upper Marlboro, and nephew of Leroy Jones, of Laurel. He is a 2009 graduate of Charles Herbert Flowers High School.
