LARGO – Homicide detectives from the Prince George's County Police Department responded to the Top of the Tree apartment complex in Largo Thursday night to investigate the county's 19th homicide of the year.
Just after 7 p.m., patrol units from the county police department, along with fire and EMS units from Prince George's County Largo Fire/EMS Station 846, responded to the 10100 block of Campus Way South for a man in the hallway of an apartment building shot.
Police have identified the victim as 25-year-old Gregory Anthony Taylor of Prince Place in Largo.
According to a source, the man was shot multiple times in his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene by county paramedics.
According to court records, Taylor had been arrest several times in Prince George's County for theft, burglary, drug possession and other charges.
