Man injured in shooting at Iverson Mall

police-car-lightTEMPLE HILLS – Three men allegedly shot and wounded another man at the Iverson Mall July 17. 

Patrol units from the Prince George’s County Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the rear parking lot of the shopping center in the 3700 block of Branch Avenue just after 11:30 p.m. July 17, said Cpl. Nicole Hubbard, a spokeswoman for the Prince George’s County police. 
Upon arrival, officers found an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, she said. 
Responders transported the victim, who has not yet been identified, to a local trauma center to be treated for the injuries. 
The man remains in serious condition, Hubbard said. 
A preliminary investigation suggests the victim was walking near the parking lot when he was approached by three adult males, who opened fire. 
The three suspects fled the area, Hubbard said.
