CarrawayGREENBELT – On Monday morning in a federal courtroom, 23-year-old Deonte Carraway of Glenarden, a former Prince George's County school aide at Sylvania Woods Elementary School who pleaded guilty in January to 15 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor to produce child pornography, was sentenced to 75 years in federal prison.

Police arrest man for District Heights shooting

Martinez FerrellDISTRICT HEIGHTS – After an extensive investigation by detectives from the Prince George's County Police Department's homicide unit, detectives were able to arrest 38-year-old Martinez Ferrell of the 1000 block of Atlee Drive in Landover for the death of 29-year-old Kevin Hawkins, who shot and killed in District Heights.

Landover man dies six days after being shot

HomicideLANDOVER – On Aug. 3, Prince George's County Police Department's homicide unit was notified by hospital officials that 29-year-old Kevin Hawkins of Harrods Way in Landover had died from gunshot wounds he received after being shot in District Heights.
