Douglass, Roosevelt hoping to stay perfect as teams look to separate themselves from the pack in Week Five

Through four games the Frederick Douglass Eagles have outscored opponents 171-0. The Friendly Patriots are the next team up to try to defeat the Eagles, but at this point a few points would be an accomplishment. The Eagles are led by dual-threat quarterback Devin Butler who is coming off a four-touchdown performance last week.

Surrattsville runs over Central 42-0

DSC 0920resizedCAPITOL HEIGHTS – On a second down play with seven yards to go at midfield, the Central High School Falcons were marching down the field, trying to relinquish a 21-0 deficit in the middle of the second quarter. “Watch for the screen! Watch for the screen!” Surrattsville High School head coach Robert Harris yelled to his defense as he sized up Central’s formation.

Crusaders continue winning with 42-7 victory

footballOn the night when he celebrated his 17th birthday, Riverdale Baptist senior quarterback Amir Hall and his teammates had plenty to celebrate as the Crusaders rolled to a 42-7 victory over visiting St. Mary's of Annapolis in front of nearly 500 spectators at the Riverdale Baptist Sportsplex in Upper Marlboro on Friday evening.
