Dez Wells DKLAS VEGAS – Chicago Bulls rookie phenom Denzel Valentine had ice water in his veins after he dropped a game-winning three-pointer in overtime to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 84-82 on July 18. Valentine’s game-winning stroke allowed the Bulls to win the Las Vegas Summer League Championship despite him going 0-for-6 through the first three quarters of play.

Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins looked sharp in the absence of Robert Griffin III and completed 20-of-27 passing attempts for 190 yards and a touchdown. Colt McCoy also led the offense effectively, throwing for 95 yards and two touchdowns.
