Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating the county’s seventh homicide of 2013. It occurred just before 1 p.m. Monday in the 8500 block of Rainswood Drive in Landover.
According to police, gas company workers discovered a man inside the industrial building suffering gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by county police. He has been identified as Keith Massaton Watson, 48, of Upper Marlboro.
Homicide detectives believe that Watson’s car was taken by the perpetrator. Detectives are searching for a 2004 black Audi A6 with Maryland tags 01524CE. Detectives are also working to identify the suspect or suspects and to establish a motive in this case.
