A Capitol Heights man lying in the street was struck and killed Monday on Suitland Road.
Donald Pray, 45, was driving on Suitland Road when he and a passenger in his vehicle got into an argument. Pray stopped his car, got out and had lain down in the roadway. A car then hit him, the preliminary police investigation revealed.
Prince George’s County police and fire departments responded to the accident around 1 a.m. Monday at Suitland Road and Suitland Parkway.
Police and fire officials found Pray “in grave condition.” He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, a fire department official said.
Pray may have been drinking alcohol before the collision, police said.
