Jealous goes on offensive against Hogan after primary victory

SILVER SPRING – Two weeks after capturing 39.6 percent of the primary vote to win the Democratic nomination for Governor for the state of Maryland, former president and CEO of the NAACP Ben Jealous called out Republican Gov. Larry Hogan on his stance on women’s reproductive rights while collecting a key endorsement.

Greenbelt wants to stay green

greenbeltGREENBELT – The city of Greenbelt is staying true to its green name as it voted to send a letter off to Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan asking him to stand by the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement during the same meeting the council directed staff to look into solar and wind options.
