Prince George’s County launched its new 311 call center for county residents who need help with trash pick-ups, potholes or any complaints has regarding county services.
The new 311 service begins Monday and only operates between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7p.m. Monday through Friday.
County officials hope the new 311 call center will cut down on people calling 911 to reports potholes or another non-emergency incidents.
“CountyClick 311 is a one-stop location that residents can call to get answers to questions and resolve non-emergency issues,” said Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker III. “311 was long overdue for our jurisdiction, and I want to thank all the (Prince George’s) County agencies that heeded my call to action and worked together to streamline and bring into fruition this greatly needed service. This is an opportunity for our government to not only serve, but, most importantly, expedite matters of importance to our residents.”
County residents can also go to www.princegeorgescountymd.gov/countyclick/ to report incidents or request a county service. Residents can also download CountyClick app on their iPhone or Android phone.
