Part time workers should not get unemployment benefits.

In your editorial dated of March 25, you have stated the reason why unemployment benefit should be given to part-time workers. As a full-time worker, I think government’s emergency bill would encourage people to stop looking for job.

At this economic crisis where the situation is very though, government is trying to help people by allowing them to get access to unemployment benefits. That is something that we all support. The real problem here is that many people get part time jobs by choice. Everybody has this choice but many of us have to pay their house mortgages, their car bills, or utilities, they end up by getting full time jobs.

On the other hand some people are never willing to work a full time job and prefer to have fun with the rest of their time. For those people, government should not allow them to get full access to unemployment benefits while they had a clear opportunity in the past.
