Bowie loses game two, down 0-2 in playoff series with Altoona

The Bowie Baysox fell to the Altoona Curve, 8-4, in game two of the Eastern League Western Division playoffs Friday night.

The Baysox never led in the game, only tying to game at three in the bottom of the third following a two-run homer by Easter League MVP Garabez Rosa.

Altoona rebounded for three runs in the fifth to go up 6-3 and never looked back.

Cedric Mullins paced the Bowie offense with three hits. He was the only member of the team to record multiple hits. He and Ryan Mountcastle drove in the Baysox's other two runs.

Bowie now trails 2-0 in the series and will have to win the next three games in Altoona to prolong their season.
