Wolverines slash Terps, 35-10

Taivon Jacobs DKCOLLEGE PARK – The No. 21-ranked Michigan Wolverines scored 28 unanswered points in the opening half, which provided enough cushion to defeat the Maryland Terrapins, 38-10, in front of 44,325 at Capital One Field on Nov. 11.

For Maryland (4-5), the result is its fifth loss in its last six games.

Maryland upsets No. 23 Texas on the road, Pigrome injured

AntoineBrooksAUSTIN, Texas - As the third quarter ticked down, Maryland led 23rd-ranked Texas 37-34 in what had been a touchdown fest.

Terrapins quarterback Tyrrell Pigrome had accounted for 239 yards and three scores and was scrambling up the middle on the last play of the quarter. It was then his right knee buckled as he tried to make a cut on a five-yard run.

Maryland drops 50 on Purdue, moves to 4-0

Perry Hills3 MSCOLLEGE PARK – Maryland’s opening drive of Big Ten play didn't go as expected, as Perry Hills threw his first interception of the season on third down.

Still, as one would expect from a fifth-year senior, Hills responded just the way a leader should.
