DUPREE SPREE: DuVal's David Dupree looks to turn the county football scene into his own personal track meet

dupreerunning2LANHAM – In his first season under new head coach Carlos Lockwood, DuVal running back David Dupree rushed for more than 1,600 yards and totaled 15 touchdowns last year.

Now, with Dupree back for his senior season and Lockwood more comfortable at the helm with a year under his belt, the two say the goals for this high school football season are simple: win the 4A class and break every rushing record imaginable.

DuVal smacks High Point, prepares for Wise

UPPER MARLBORO – Inclement weather this past weekend forced Prince George’s County Public Schools to relocate a bevy of games to Dr. Henry A. Wise, Jr. High School field.

DuVal’s game with High Point was one of those games, and just like the weather, DuVal poured it on and coasted to a 43-0 victory.

Defenses control game as Flowers tops DuVal, 7-0

Russell Gantt Jr. MSLANHAM – In a game where defense reigned supreme, Charles H. Flowers displayed its dominance with three sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles. Together with the two-way performance by sophomore Mekhi Williams, Flowers narrowly defeated its rival DuVal, 7-0.
