Yuletide at Winterthur
Yuletide at Winterthur showcases Henry Francis du Pont's ancestral home in seasonal splendor. This year's Yuletide tour features rooms decorated to reflect various seasonal vignettes, including the perennial favorite, Winterthur's magnificent dried flower tree. Nov. 21to Jan. 3.
Tours will display the elegance and opulence of du Pont family celebrations, while a full series of special events, performances, and workshops will help to make your season bright! Visit the special seasonal exhibition Good Tidings to You: Victorian Christmas Ephemera from The John & Carolyn Grossman Collection, a charming look at vintage paper materials produced to celebrate the Christmas holidays.

Maryland Christmas Show
Nothing brings back the yuletide spirit quite like the Maryland Christmas Show. For the 26th season,visitors from near and far will discover the joys of shopping at Maryland's premier Christmas event. The Maryland Christmas Show, located in historic Frederick City, brings together many fine artisans and merchants to make your holiday shopping an enjoyable event. The show offers seven buildings and big top tents over two consecutive weekends. You'll enjoy the works of 500 top artists and craftsmen offering fine art, pottery, furniture, quilts, jewelry, clothing, wreaths and garlands, toys and Christmas ornaments — just about anything related to your Christmas shopping enjoyment. Not all of the same exhibitors participate in both weekends.
Dates: Nov. 20-22 and Nov. 27-29. Times: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday/Saturday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission: Adults $7; children 12 and under $4. *No pets allowed. Parking: $1.
