Leonardtown First “Foodie” Friday to Celebrate Restaurant Week

The Leonardtown First “Foodie” Friday will be held  Aug. 6 from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and features a culinary theme in honor of Savor St. Mary’s Restaurant Week.

Festivities include a book signing and the Portable Feast Giveaway, plus Savor St. Mary’s dishes at participating  restaurants.

Riverfront Blues Festival

This year’s festival, which returns to Tubman-Garrett Park in Wilmington’s revitalized Riverfront, promises to live up to that reputation. 

The lineup for the three-day blues extravaganza features the Skyla Burrell Blues Band, Delta Harp Blast, Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, The Shaun Murphy Band and more. 

In addition to the live musical entertainment, there are musical workshops and off-stage events including an ice skating rink—in August.

 Festival runs Aug. 6-8 in Wilmington, Del.

Wyoming Peach Festival in Delaware

On August 7, everything comes up peaches at the annual Wyoming Peach Festival, a true "hometown" event.

47th Annual Lewes Outdoor Antiques Show

The Lewes Historical Society will be offering popular Antiques Show on Saturday, Aug. 7 at the corner of Second & Shipcarpenter Streets in historic, downtown Lewes, Del.

The show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  and features nearly 65 quality antiques dealers from throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

Admission: $5, children under 12 are free; early bird admission (before 9 a.m.) is $15 per person.
