A man was shot multiple times early Friday, Sept. 27, after two men attempted to break into a West Lanham home.

Prince George’s County Police Department responded to the 6900 block of 100 th Avenue, just off of Good Luck Road, around midnight for the reported shooting.

Officers found the wounded man had been shot multiple times in his upper body. He was transported by Prince George’s County paramedics to a local trauma center “in serious condition,” said PGPD Cpl. Maria McKinney.

Police were not sure if the victim was the homeowner, someone who lives in the house or a visitor, according to police. The motive for the shooting is also unknown.

The two other men fled from the scene, McKinney said.
