Hello and welcome to the Montgomery County Sports Hall of Fame 2nd Annual Induction Ceremony

Curtis Pride (Baseball), Johnny Holliday (Broadcasting), Amy Wood (Field Hockey), Jeri Ingram (Tennis), Tom Brown (Baseball and Football) and the late Roy Lester (HS Football Coach) are all stellar in their history of representing our community and in their commitments to make Montgomery County a better place.

Curtis Pride's story--born severely hearing impaired, yet excelled in three sports--will bring tears to your eyes. Tom Brown played in the pros in two sports; baseball for the Senators and won three NFL title rings with the Green Bay Packers. Jeri Ingram still holds records in Montgomery County and the University of Maryland. Coaches, like Amy Wood and Roy Lester, are often the unsung heroes behind the stars. But they not only build athletes, they build young men and women who are our county's future. And Johnny Holliday! He is much, much more than the voice of the Terps. Humble and generous of spirit.

Olympic Gold Medalist and 2019 Inductee Dominique Dawes delivers a special message after landing a surprise opening.
