(July 29, 2020 -- Nashville, TN) Acclaimed music photographer Michael Weintrob has announced the launch of his new streaming music & art series, Instrumenthead Live. The series comes in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic as an opportunity to provide safe, premium concerts to music lovers everywhere.

Programming is set to launch on August 6th with its first original show, “Music With 5 Questions” featuring Jen Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band), Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band), and Kris Myers (Umphrey’s McGee), with our VERY SPECIAL GUESTS legendary guitarist Robben Ford and bassist Jay White! The Instrumenthead Live streaming platform has a stacked lineup of performances scheduled through the month of August including Daniel Donato, Stolen Faces, Lady Couch, The SloBeats, as well as Mimi Naja & Friends. These concerts will all be available on their newly launched site,

“I have been fortunate to share space, through my photography, with many musicians around the world. This pandemic has affected us all, in one way or another. This new series is our opportunity to create a safe and fun environment in my Nashville studio for everyone to enjoy high quality audio and video in a unique gallery where the art is curated specifically for the artist performing. We are empowering live art.” says Weintrob.

Weintrob is no stranger to bootstrapping unique concepts. In 2017 the photographer launched his INSTRUMENTHEAD book which took home the IPPY-Award for most-outstanding book design that year. Since 2011, Weintrob has been showing his work all over the world. These exhibitions featured live performances that accompanied the artwork on display. Instrumenthead Live is the virtual compliment to the immersive music and art experiences that Michael has been curating. By bringing together unique groups of superstars and local legends based in the Nashville music scene we are supporting our musical ecosystem. Each show will also have a charity designated by the performer to donate a portion of the proceeds. Fine Art Prints & Merchandise will also be available for sale.
